Building a barn is a community effort, and restoring a barn is, too. It takes excavators, sawyers, timber framers, and helpful neighbors to revive such a large structure.  The East Monitor Barn is more than 120 years old. You can join the community that is saving, restoring, and giving a whole new life to this structure with a tax-deductible gift. The barn’s steward and owner, the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, has a mission to take action and build community by working and learning together with the land.
